Refunds & Exchanges

We are happy to refund or exchange any product (bought from one of our websites) within 7 days after the delivery date (which is the 7 days ‘cooling off’ period, see our Terms & Conditions for details), as long as it is returned in its original state, unused and in original packaging.

Proof of purchase is required. The delivery costs for your original order will not be refunded.

This policy does not affect your statutory rights, governed by the EU Distance Selling Directive which is part of UK law under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000.

If you wish to return a product, please contact our Consumer Helpline on 0845 009 1789 or write an email to helpline@babyhelpline.co.uk to obtain a Return Reference Number (RRN). The RRN is your confirmation that we have accepted and authorised your return.

Please confirm the following information to us in your email or during the telephone call:

  • Your name
  • Your full (invoice) address, including your postcode
  • Your Order number
  • The reason for the refund or exchange
  • If you would like to exchange an item please detail what you would like to exchange if for

After you have received the RRN, please download and complete our Returns Form, which has to be included with your return shipment.

NO RETURNS OR EXCHANGES WILL BE ACCEPTED WITHOUT A RETURNS REFERENCE NUMBER AND A COMPLETED RETURNS FORM.

IMPORTANT! As the Ameda Lactaline Double Electric Personal Breastpump is a personal hygience product, we will not be able to accept any returns if the original packaging has been opened and/or if the breastpump and/or its accessories has been unpacked or used.

Please include the following information/documents with your return shipment:

  • Original delivery note (this comes with the delivery of your items)
  • A completed Returns Form, including the Returns Reference Number
  • A copy of your original Invoice (you have received this by email from us)

We would like to suggest to protect/package your return properly (by using bubble wrap or a suitable carton shipping box) to avoid any additional damage to the retail packaging and/or item as this could affect the level of refund.

Please note that any postage incurred by returning the item(s) to us will not be refunded.

We will refund you the full purchase price (excluding the initial delivery costs) within 14 working days after we have received your return in its original state (unopened and unused) and suitable for resale.

If the returned product is not suitable for resale we will only refund up to 50% of the purchase price, depending on the state of the product (at our discretion). We will contact you to confirm this by email.
